Then, seemingly overnight, the mid 1980s saw computers replace typewriters in mainstream business. AOS pivoted.

“We started selling Olivetti Electronic Typewriters as well as servicing IBM electric models. The first computers we sold were Apple II computers in 1981 and after that, Macintosh was the next computer sold. Within a few years, we were selling HP, Compaq, and IBM systems.”
