Advanced Office Completes Projects for Area Schools
Advanced Office Systems, Inc. (AOS), recently completed three projects for the New Haven and Hamden public schools.

The first project for the New Haven Board of Education involved the installation and service of more than 1,000 Hewlett Packard desktops in schools across the city, including two of New Haven’s newest: Barnard School and John Daniels School.

The second and third projects included the installation of desktops, hardware, software and other equipment to Hamden High Schools and Hamden Middle School.

The Hamden Middle School project featured the installation of 300 Apple ibook notebook computers, 200 Dell desktop computers, and corresponding software imaging; and the installation of five Hewlett Packard servers and two Apple XServes. In addition, Advanced Office Systems configured and installed Hewlett Packard Procurve switches and wireless LAN equipment.

The Hamden High School project included the deployment of 400 Dell desktops, more than 60 eMACs and PowerMacG5s and corresponding software imaging. In addition, Advanced Office Systems configured and installed Hewlett Packard Procurve switches and wireless LAN equipment.
